Here at DC Collectables we remember the joys of the dressing up box when we were younger.
Dressing ourselves with finery donated by our mothers and grandmothers - the swish of silk, the rustle of taffeta, pretty vintage florals and even the fun of crimpolene!
Now Vintage fashion is back in a big way and besides finding a fantastic one off piece that nobody else will be wearing, we are also doing our bit for the environment by recycling and DC Collectables are committed to finding those great items for you.
Another great tradition was Sunday afternoon tea, when beautiful linen and lace cloths were used along with pretty floral china and cake stands groaning with delicious cakes and buns.
Here at D C Collectables, we aim to recreate a glimpse of those bygone days by choosing items which are as wonderful and useful today as they were yesterday.
To compliment our Vintage Collection, we also offer a range of hand selected new gift items and home accessories. From Art Deco style perfume bottles and mirror compacts to boxed china mugs, jewellery and trinket boxes, photograph frames, key rings and hand bag charms, we are sure you will find that perfect gift. Our home accessories range includes hanging hearts made from vintage fabric, door stops, and wall plaques to name but a few items.
D C Collectables stands at fairs and events around the Yorkshire region.Our Vintage Chic Boutique stands at a number of Vintage Fashion Fairs whilst our range of new gift items and home accessories features at various shows. Please see our events page for a list of dates and venues. We are also available for parties in your own home, fundraising and charity events and fashion shows.
